Fukkoku Glass Tumbler 270N (Hirota Glass)

This is a "Fukkoku" reissued tumbler from the early Showa (1920-30s) era by notable Hirota Glass - the same production style of "hand press" method was used for producing this tumbler. 

This tumbler feels heavy in your hand and has a striking three-dimensional form. The stripe pattern is called "shinogi", originally developed for ceramic decorative pattern making, which makes your drink look more dramatic and attractive. Great for everyday water or tea drinking or even for cocktails.
