Deck Sport / Camo (Moonstar)

These are rare find / dead stock sneakers from Moonstar.
Like Shoes Like Pottery series, Deck Sport series are made with the vulcanizing method at the factory in Kurume with the original Kurume weave.

Kurume supplies all of the materials used in the production of the shoes, from the rubber sole to the top cloth. Furthermore, the top cloth is made using a traditional weaving technique known as Kurume gasuri. This weaving procedure necessitates the expertise of local craftsmen; it takes two months to weave just 13 yards of fabric.

The specific vulcanizing method can only be realized by skilled craftsmen and the shoes are known to have flexible, yet durable soles and are damage resistant.
